Thüringische Spielleut'

The members of our group:

 Friedrich, Lenhard, Britta, Manfred, Anja and Andreas.

The band "Hirtenbläsergruppe Zella-Mehlis" was found in Zella-Mehlis in 1973.

in 1973 was our first tread in Zella-Mehlis to the festival from the herdsmen.

In Zella-Mehlis was a fair from the herdsmen every year.

The herdsmen had a musical competition with their self built trumpets of wood.

(look at thuringian trumped).

Schlütter Friedrich was one of the founders of the museum from the home in Zella–Mehlis.

 He worked with traditional music and was the Head of  the  "Hirtenbläsergruppe". 

In 1985 the group became called "thüringische Spielleut’".

 We make music with these traditional instruments: 

Jew's-harp, sheet from the birches, rotary lyre, bagpipe, Shawn, thuringian forest zither, dulcimer, drum, Bass, horn from the herdsmen and harmonica.

we play on weddings, to dance, birthday, association feting and others entertainments. 

we think the music of our forbears was so.
