Die Welt der 10 000 Dinge entsteht aus Himmel und Erde,
und so kann man sagen, daß alle Dinge yin und yang Energien in ihrem innersten Kern enthalten.
Diese Sicht zeigt die "Paar-Natur" des Qi und erklärt auch die letztendliche Einheit aller Dinge.

Im Neo-Konfuzianismus, insbesondere im Werk des 朱熹 zhu1 xi1 (1130-1200),
wird der Begriff qi4 氣 in einer kosmologischen Dimension verwendet,
aber doch sehr verschieden von der daoistischen Sichtweise des Huainanzi:
Der Begriff qi4 ist Teil der Dichotomie von li3 理 (Prinzip) und qi4 氣 (ursprüngliche Materie).
Alle Dinge entstehen durch Zusammenwirken von li3 und qi4.
li3 ist ihre essentielle Natur, eine Art Blaupause; qi4 ermöglicht die wirkliche Verkörperung im Konkreten.

In the Huainanzi 淮南子 huai2 nan2 zi3 qi4 氣 is the creative force that generates the universe.
From an initial state of chaos, spacetime developped .... that produced the primordial qi.
Out of this primordial qi, yang-qi 陽氣 and yin-qi 陰氣 came forth, dividing into heaven and earth... 天地 tian1 di4
All the later 10.000 beings were produced by heaven and earth, and thus contain yin and yang energies in their very being.
This analysis clearly shows the double nature or dimension of qi ( as it also explains the ultimate oneness of all beings).

The reciprocation between mental activity (focusing) and flow of qi / conduct of qi in human body is a fascinating discoverment -

In Neo-Confucianism, especially in the work of 朱熹 zhu1 xi1 (1130-1200),
the word qi is used in a cosmic dimension, but very different from Taoism:
It is part of the dichotomy of li3 理(principle) and qi4 氣 (primary "matter").
All beings are constituted by li3 and qi4.
li3 is their essential nature, a sort of blueprint; qi4 makes the actual embodiment of li possible in concrete beings.
