Die Bronze-schriftversion
gibt einen Hinweis zum Verstehen des Zeichens .
Die Kombination von Kopf mit einem Schritt nach links und einem Schritt nach rechts ....
- kann gedeutet werden als ein Sich-Bewußtwerden von Ergänzungsschwingungen

Aus diesem Grunde wurde die Bronze-schriftversion hier in der Textwiedergabe bevorzugt....
da es - wie mir scheint - Laozi's Verständnis besser entspricht als die Siegelschriftversion .
一隂一陽之謂道 - Jeder Weg hat eine Richtung... - Laozi's dao weist auf die Tendenz zu einem Ganzen hin, in dem sich die Polaritäten gegenseitig integrieren.

Bronze (金文编來的字) Character
gives us a hint for understanding:
In center one can detect a head... at the left and at the right one can detect the radical of a step to the left and a step to the right...
One can understand this as a comprehension of the phenomenon of complementing swing of left - right... you3 - wu2 ... yin - yang
Therefore i prefered to use here the bronze character.
In my opinion this corresponds laozi's understanding of dao in a better way than the sealscript-version.
